Ariel Scheintaub, MSOT, OTR/L
Upper West Side – W 92nd StAriel received her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a minor in psychology from University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2018 and her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Hofstra University in 2022 where she served as her Student Occupational Therapy Association’s Vice President. She is currently a member of the New York State Occupational Therapy Association, American Occupational Therapy Association, and National Board of Certified Occupational Therapists.
Prior to attending OT school, Ariel worked as a stretch therapist in NYC. Her clinical occupational therapy background includes hand therapy and skilled nursing facility in both subacute and long-term rehab settings. Ariel is especially passionate about occupational therapy in the neuro and orthopedic settings, with diagnoses including spinal cord injuries, stroke, osteoarthritis, and peripheral nerve injuries, to name a few.
When she’s not working as an OT, Ariel enjoys attending concerts, boxing, and trying new coffee shops across the city.
